Family Photos at the Texas Capitol, Austin

This November, I had a wonderful Texas Capitol family photos in Austin session with a lovely family.It was my first time photographing them, and since they had done many sessions in Austin’s beautiful parks before, they wanted to try something new — a location with a different atmosphere. The Capitol was the perfect choice, offering both history and elegance right in the heart of downtown.

For this session, we explored the Capitol grounds and found many lovely spots surrounded by trees, walkways, and soft light filtering through the buildings. Each corner of the area has its own charm, and the mood changes beautifully depending on the time of day — from soft morning light to warm afternoon tones.

Even in a short 30-minute shoot, we captured so many genuine and joyful moments that reflect the family’s warm connection and personality.
