10th Anniversary Family Session at UT Austin

At the end of November, I photographed a meaningful UT Austin family session with a family who has a special connection to the campus. The couple first met at UT Austin, and this year marks their 10th wedding anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, they wanted to return to the place where their story began and take updated family photos with their children. I loved the idea and felt grateful to capture this chapter for them.

Even though the UT Tower is currently under renovation, the campus still offers many great locations for a UT Austin family session. The fall light was soft, the atmosphere felt calm, and the warm seasonal tones blended beautifully with their outfits.

UT Austin is a refreshing option for families who want something different from nature-only locations. The mix of historic architecture, open spaces, and sentimental connections makes it a wonderful backdrop for photos.

I’m happy I could capture these moments for them at a place that holds so much meaning. Sessions like this remind me how special it can be when a location reflects a family’s own story. I look forward to photographing more families at UT this season.
