My Austin newborn photography sessions take place in the comfort of your home, where your family can slow down and settle into the experience. Rather than using elaborate props or heavily posed setups, I focus on genuine connection and the quiet, meaningful details of life with your new baby.
Your home does not need to be perfect or professionally styled. I look for the best available natural light and photograph your family in spaces where you already feel comfortable. Sessions may include relaxed family portraits, moments between parents and baby, interactions with siblings, and small details such as your baby’s hands, feet, and expressions.
When to Schedule Your Session
Maternity sessions are often scheduled between 28 and 34 weeks, when your baby bump is beautifully visible but you are still likely to feel comfortable moving around. Every pregnancy is different, so we can choose a time that feels right for you.
Newborn sessions are commonly photographed during the first few weeks after birth, but lifestyle sessions do not require a strict timeline. Because the focus is on connection rather than posed newborn photography, your session can also take place when your baby is a little older.
