This couple photo session at the Blanton Museum was a wonderful opportunity to capture a meaningful time in their lives while they were enjoying time in Austin. Whether you're visiting for a weekend, returning to a city you love, or simply looking for a meaningful way to remember a special season of life, photographs become lasting memories that grow more valuable over time.

I always enjoy photographing couples because every relationship has its own rhythm and personality. My goal is never to create the same gallery twice, but to capture genuine moments that reflect who my clients truly are.

A Beautiful Backdrop for Meaningful Moments

For this session, we met at the Blanton Museum of Art. The modern architecture, clean lines, and thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces created a beautiful setting that complemented the couple naturally.

One of the things I enjoy most about photographing here is the variety of backgrounds. Moving through the space allows us to create images with different moods and compositions while keeping the session relaxed and enjoyable.

This was my second time photographing at the Blanton Museum. My first session here was a portrait session for a client’s business holiday card, which reminded me how versatile this location can be for different types of photography.

Photographing Real Connection

Some of my favorite photographs are the ones that happen between poses—the quiet conversations, shared smiles, and small moments that often say the most.

Rather than focusing on perfect poses, I guide my clients in a way that allows their personalities and connection to come through naturally. Those authentic moments are what make each gallery unique.
